Teen Number Activities

December 9, 2019
Hi Friends!!!

I'm not sure if anyone is out there (considering it's been two years since I've posted) but here goes nothing.....I've missed blogging and sharing ideas with you and it feels good to get back into it. I've slowly been revising a TON of my old products and I wanted to share one in particular with you before the price goes up.

Teen numbers have always been so difficult for my little ones to grasp. Children need numerous opportunities to learn these numbers with visuals and manipulatives. I've included numbers 10 and 20 although they aren't "teen" numbers, only because I teach my students that teen numbers are ALL the numbers BETWEEN 10 and 20. By adding these two numbers it helps them identify a "starting" and an "ending" point so to speak.

The previous file include this center game only:

[YES I cringe when I see my old products...lol]

The new file includes......not 1....not 2....not 3....but 12!!! 12 Teen Number Activities in all!!
I kinda went crazy I know! What was supposed to be a quick revision of the product turned into a complete overhaul of the file.

This is the new product:

I will keep these centers priced at the original cost of $2.50 for the next 48 hours....so hop on over to my tpt store and grab it for that awesome price!

enjoy!

Summer Countdown Chain Link Freebie

May 31, 2017
Oh my gosh!!!!!!!

My poor little blog has been soooooooo neglected! I'm hoping to get rejuvenated this summer and get back into it. I've had a tough year and trust me when I say I'm glad it's over! Well, technically Friday is my last day. I made this little countdown to summer sign and I wanted to share with you all.

(Click to Download)

We started the countdown when we were down to 20 days. Each day I had one students tear a link off. I don't know who had more fun counting down, myself, or the kids! Haha!

The kids chose pink and yellow paper for our links which I think turned out great!
This visual was perfect for the kids who would constantly ask me how many more days there are until Summer.

I hope this is something you can use in your classroom. And CHEERS to no more alarms!!!

Currently February 2016

February 4, 2016
February already? Time is really flying. But I'm actually super happy it is because next month my brother-in-law will be home from his 2nd tour in Afghanistan and he'll finally get to meet his 2- month old son!!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeekkkkk!!!

I'm linking up with the fabulous Farley from Oh Boy 4th Grade to bring you this month's Currently.

I've really missed doing these fun linkies during my seven month long blog hiatus. I promise to never disappear for that long! I've been busy revamping my teachers pay teachers store which has taken up a ton of time but I am so happy with my progress. I look at some of the first products I created and I cringe each time!!! I've got just  a few more to go so wish me luck!

I'm really needing to cut back on coffee, buuuuutttttt it just helps make my days a little more manageable. Notice I said I was sticking to "most" of my New Year's goals....I wasn't referring to this one..hahaha!

Who's with me?!

Finally, I'm definitely swooning over all the new modern blog designs I've been seeing lately with the slideshow at the top....really techy! I'm itching for one, although I just had this current design up just a few short months ago. Ah! Decisions! Decisions!

Lesson in a Snap: iTeach Kinder Linky

February 1, 2016
I am suuuppppper excited to participate in my first iTeach Kinder Linky Party hosted by Nicole and Eliceo from nicoleandeliceo.com. This month I'll be sharing with you a freebie from my Lesson in a Snap Series. I created Lessons in a Snap, because let's face it, there truly never is enough time in the day to do everything we need to do. The activities in this series require very little to no prep at all. Just print, cut and laminate for durability.

You can use this activty as a center game or during whole group instruction. Either way, I'm sure your kids will have lots of fun!

I've included 4 no- prep sheets that are differentiated in order to fit the needs of your students. Just pick and choose the ones that will work best.

I've also included a set of blackline images in case you'd rather print onto colored carstock and save on ink.

Holiday & Special Days Calendar Cards

June 24, 2015

Aaaahhh Summer! The time when our teacher brain is supposed to shut off.......NOT!

This is my 3rd week of summer and I have to remind myself these days to relax a little. Although I had an extremely rough school year, and I've been looking forward to summer all year long, now that it's here, I'm actually really anxious to get back into my classroom! Weird huh?! I can't explain it at all!!

I spent the first two weeks of my break moving classrooms. I was extremely frustrated having to clean out not only my exisiting classroom, but the classroom I was moving into as well. The previous teacher resigned mid- year and left a bunch of stuff I had to trash. I must have made three trips to our dumpster! If you follow me on Instagram, I shared a trashbag of brand new hardcover books I found stuffed at the back of her closet.

At that moment I felt like crap. It wasn't so much about the books, it was about how I've been complaining all along while not understanding her struggles. I took it as God saying to me "Here you are whining about doing a little work and look at this nice gift this lady left you." There had to have been over 30 books in that bag. Brand spankin' new! I took a moment to say a prayer for her, and ask for forgiveness for my actions and my tongue. Lesson learned!! #imnotperfect

Anyhow, I finally made the time to sit and finish this calendar cards pack that I started a couple months ago. I wanted to make my own because I became tired of constantly searching for specific cards I needed and what was being sold at my local teacher store just did not fit my needs.

I was really bummed when I realized I left my laminator at school and we are locked out for the summer!! We're actually not allowed back in until two weeks prior to the start of the school year. But I've already printed these bad boys and now I'm just trying to find someone to help me cut them....hahaha!!

Click here if you'd like to check it out! It's only $2 in my TpT store :)
